Jean-Dominique Giuliani, Chairman of the Robert Schuman Foundation
The Foundation, a reference research centre, works in support of European integration. Special Advisor to the European Commission, Jean-Dominique Giuliani was previously Maître des Requêtes at the State Council, he was head of staff of the cabinet of the President of the Senate Mr René Monory (1992-1998) and Manager at the Taylor Nelson Sofres group (1998-2001). In 2001, he founded his own business in international consulting: J-DG.Com International Consultants of which he is the chair. He has notably published : Plaidoyer pour l’élargissemnt et Atlas des nouveaux membres, 2 tomes, Robert Schuman Foundation Notes (Paris, 2002); Quinze + Dix, le grand élargissement, Albin Michel (Paris 2003); L’élargissement de l’Europe, collection « Que sais-je », PUF (Paris, 2005) ; Un Européen très pressé with Editions du Moment (May 2008) and Les 100 mots de l’Europe with Jean-Paul Betbèze, PUF, collection « Que sais-je ? », Paris, (May 2011). He co-directed the Permanent Atlas of the European Union, Lignes de Repères, 2012. Due to his expertise regarding European affairs he has published articles on a regular basis and taken part in many conferences.
He was appointed to the Supervisory Board of ArteFrance in June 2009
